Stuart Broderick is an Optiv Risk and Compliance Advisory Services Practice manager with 20+ years of experience using NIST 800 series and ISO frameworks to help customers achieve their security goals. He uses his experience in security, privacy, architecture, risk management, compliance readiness, metrics definition, and security operations to improve information security programs and enable better risk management.

Dr. Broderick has led consulting engagements and supported projects to achieve 800-53, ISO 2700x, and NIST CSF for fortune 500 companies across multiple industry verticals including manufacturing, transportation, healthcare, financial services, technology, and others. He has also delivered information security services to clients globally in Asia, Europe, Oceania, and the Americas.

Stuart holds a Ph.D. and gained a CISM in 2004, a CRISC in 2010 and a CCSK in 2011. He has authored several peer-reviewed publications and is a multi-year guest lecturer at the Royal Holloway College, University of London for their master’s course in Information Security.
