Black Employee Network (BEN) Scholarship Application

Optiv has a purpose-driven mission to help our communities secure greatness. The BEN employee resource group is a space for Black employees to make connections, grow personally and cultivate opportunities within Optiv and our industry.

 

It is our goal to help Black and African American students pursue higher education and a career in cybersecurity through this annual scholarship.

 

 

To be considered for this scholarship award, candidates must:

 

  • Be a graduating high school senior
  • Verify acceptance into an eligible field of STEM study (including but not limited to computer science, electrical engineering, math, etc.)
  • Have a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
  • Plan to enter the cybersecurity or information security industry
  • Identify as Black and/or African American (African, African American, Caribbean, etc.) and be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national or permanent resident
  • Not be a past BEN scholarship recipient

 

 

Applications must be completed before 3:00 p.m. MT May 2, 2025
